Description

No matter your skills or interests, there is a perfect volunteer opportunity for you at our Boys & Girls Club. Want to inspire youth by sharing your success story? Want to support youth with homework help? Interested in assisting with athletic programs? Are you available once a month or every day? If you have a passion for impacting youth, we have a way for you to do just that!  Volunteers can choose to support the Robin Paige Club of Lillington in Harnett County, or the O.T. Sloan Park Club of Sanford in Lee County.

Boys & Girls Club volunteers are helping the youth in our community recover from the ongoing effects COVID-19 has had on academic and social emotional learning. Volunteers will directly engage children and teens in programming designed to empower youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives.

When you volunteer at a Boys & Girls Club, you can make a difference in the lives of youth and give back to your community. Within the first few minutes of walking into a Club, you know you’re in a special place. Filled with the sounds and energy of spirited children and friendly, caring professionals, the Club is a fun and hopeful environment.

Whether you help with homework, lead a game, or assist with an art project, you’ll have the opportunity to build healthy relationships with young people eager for adult guidance, and have a positive impact on their lives. In turn, you will find that spending time with these young people has a positive impact on you as well.
