Warren Williams will have our annual Culture day on March 8th, 2017 at 9:00 am. Parents are invited to tour each classroom with their child’s class. Featured places for culture day are: Guatemala, Columbia, Japan, Mexico, Jamaica, USA, Italy, and Australia.
Students are given a mission as they receive a passport that they can complete. They earn a stamp for completing an activity in each classroom representing a country. This encourages everyone to try new things and circulate through all classes.
Teachers make the event interdisciplinary by including examples of learning in art, music, social studies, language arts, and math.
Volunteers will assist teachers in the classroom, be passport ticket punchers, and keep order in the hallways.
