Who We Are

Our mission is to help people heal from abuse as we work to end domestic violence and sexual assault through community education, intervention and primary prevention.  We provide shelter and/or supportive services to ALL victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.  We offer the following services: 24-Hour Crisis Line, court advocacy, hospital accompaniment, emergency shelter (up to 90 days), limited transportation, referral and information, counseling, support groups, professional training, community education, and groups for violent men or women.

What We Do

HAVEN in Lee County is a non-profit agency created in 1985 to provide safety and support for those victimized by domestic violence and/or sexual abuse and to educate the community about the issues of family violence and sexual assault. The name HAVEN is an acronym for Helping Abuse and Violence End Now. It embodies our mission to help hurting people heal from abuse.HAVEN in Lee County is an agency based on empowerment. Our services are structured to empower clients to become self sufficient and to gain control over their lives.
