Needs From: Volunteer United

The Friends of the Lee County Libraries have an on-going book sale at the main library. Volunteers are needed to sort donations, fill the book sale shelves with selected materials, and straighten/organize as needed.

*Please do not wait until a few days before your service is due to your supervisor! Background checks are required for all volunteers and approval can take up to two weeks. 

Our general volunteers assist in several aspects of maintaining the library collection including shelf reading, shifting materials, and overall presentation of materials in displays and on shelves. Special projects may pop up including: creating craft material bags for programs, cutting/prepping for program needs, and more.
