Volunteer: Digital Marketing Coordinator (Facebook & Beyond)

Role Overview:
• Lead our Facebook marketing efforts: create posts, share updates, and engage with our community.
• Develop creative campaigns to raise awareness to identify new clients and recruit volunteers.
• Explore additional digital marketing avenues over time (e.g., Nextdoor, Instagram, etc.).
What We’re Looking For:
• Enthusiasm for community service and helping seniors.
• Basic knowledge of Facebook and social media platforms.
• Creativity, reliability, and willingness to learn new tools.
• No prior professional experience required—just a desire to make a difference!

You're invited to serve on our Board of Directors to help make a difference in the lives of those who are homebound and need a hot meal delivered. Our board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10 AM in the library of First Presbyterian Church in Sanford. We do not meet in July and we meet at an alternate location in December. Visitors are always welcome at board meetings!

Interested in delivering meals to our clients? Meal delivery to our clients can be as infrequently as once a month. Pickup of meals is at the Central Carolina Hospital. Time commitment for meal delivery (for one route) is one to two hours, depending on number of clients on the route. We deliver weekdays at lunchtime, even on holidays. Thank you for supporting this important ministry!
