Volunteer: DECA Districts - Oct 28thNorth Carolina DECA is an association of high school students who are enrolled in Business and Marketing Education classes. Students in our program learn business, marketing, management, hospitality, and entrepreneurship skills.Each year, students from across the state come together series of competitive events that are evaluated by business and industry professionals like you. This year, on Tuesday, Oct 28th, we will have our Regional Career Development Conference at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center in Sanford, NC. We would like you to be an integral part of our conference by participating this in wonderful opportunity. Over 400 students across multiple counties will be participating! Your role as a judge would be to evaluate student performance by assuming a role in the situation and completing a simple DECA evaluation. This competition takes place from 8:30 am – 1 pm on Tuesday, October 28th, with breakfast and lunch provided. Specific rubrics and instructions will be given on the day of.
