

Who We Are
OMI began in 1988 to reach out to any person in need with the love of Christ and a message of hope by providing food, clothing, shower, safe shelter and emotional support for a short period of time. OMI is a low-barrier shelter.
What We Do
Provide safe shelter, food, clothing to homeless men, women and children of Lee County.
Provide case management to assess needs and potential, then establish goals with each individual. Weekly reassessment to ensure progress is made.
Access to other programs and services may include obtaining ID, food stamps, Health and Welfare Socials Services, rehousing, employment search, mental and physical health care, clothing.
